Center of Ramat Negev, Israel signs MoU with Tra Vinh University

On the morning of January 5, 2016, at Tra Vinh University, Mr. Alon Melchior, Director of the Center of Ramat Negev, Israel and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of Tra Vinh University signed a MoU for collaboration and student training according to the agricultural project.

In the scope of the MoU, students of Tra Vinh University who join the program will conduct academic research and have hands-on experience on farms in Kibutz, Moshav and Ramat Negev, Israel within 11 months.

Mr. Alon Melchior said: “During the time of study and research, students will be assigned an advisor, given opportunity to take part in meetings with well-known international experts in different fields and approached state-of-the-art technology in farms in Negev Region, Kibutz and Moshav.”

Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Rector said: “This project offers TVU agricultural students great opportunity for getting access to advanced technology and developing their critical thinking skills.”

“This program has started since 2007. And there have been over 50 agricultural students sent to Israel for their learning and research. They all have been successful in their job”, said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector.

On the same day, Mr. Alon Melchior also had a meeting with the agricultural students to provide more information about the project.
